Job Description
Join UPS as a Seasonal Driver Aide and play a crucial role in our busy holiday season operations. This ride-along position requires no driving license; you will assist our experienced drivers with package delivery and collection, ensuring timely and efficient service to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the safe and efficient delivery of packages to residential and business locations.
- Help organize and load packages onto delivery vehicles according to route sequence.
- Retrieve packages from designated locations for return or outbound shipping.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and supervisors regarding route progress and potential issues.
- Ensure packages are handled with care to prevent damage.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
