Job Description

McKesson Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wholesale Pharmacy Order Clerk for our Minneapolis distribution center. This is an entry-level warehouse role, perfect for individuals with no prior experience who are eager to learn and contribute to a vital part of the healthcare supply chain. You will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing pharmaceutical orders for shipment, ensuring products reach pharmacies and hospitals efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve pharmaceutical products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or using scanning technology.
- Inspect items for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to a supervisor.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently into appropriate containers for shipping, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and verification.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience with handheld scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
