Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shopify Specialist to join our growing e-commerce team as a Remote Admin Partner. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic retail environment from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in maintaining and optimising our Shopify stores, ensuring smooth operations, and implementing new features to enhance customer experience and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Shopify platform, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. While this role is remote, collaboration and communication with the wider team are key to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product listings, ensuring accuracy in descriptions, pricing, and inventory across all Shopify stores.
- Implement and test new features, apps, and themes to improve site functionality and user experience.
- Monitor website performance and troubleshoot any issues related to Shopify platform, apps, or integrations.
- Support marketing campaigns by scheduling product launches, promotions, and content updates.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce, marketing, and IT teams to ensure brand consistency and operational efficiency.
- Generate reports on website traffic, sales performance, and other key metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Conduct regular audits of the Shopify store to ensure best practices are followed and data integrity is maintained.
- Provide administrative support for various e-commerce initiatives as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Shopify Specialist or similar e-commerce role.
- In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform, including Liquid templating language.
- Familiarity with Shopify apps and integrations.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics or other web analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
- Previous experience working in a fully remote capacity.
