Job Description
Are you ready to kickstart your career in a dynamic, hands-on environment? Signs Express Nottingham is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Signage Installer Helper to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals with no prior experience in signage, but a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. You will work alongside experienced installers, gaining valuable skills in the preparation, installation, and maintenance of various types of signs. This role involves significant outdoor work and requires physical stamina and a willingness to work at heights and in different weather conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior installers with the preparation, loading, and unloading of tools, materials, and signs.
- Support the installation of various types of signage, including fascias, window graphics, vehicle wraps, and post-mounted signs.
- Learn and practice safe working procedures, including the proper use of ladders, access equipment, and hand tools.
- Help with site surveys, ensuring accurate measurements and assessments are taken.
- Maintain a clean and organised work vehicle and installation site.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform general manual labour tasks as required.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
- Valid UK driving license with a clean record (essential).
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
