Job Description
Are you looking for a fulfilling part-time role that fits your schedule? College Nannies, Sitters + Tutors in Torrance is seeking enthusiastic and reliable sitters to join our team! No resume is required – we’re looking for individuals with a genuine love for children, a responsible attitude, and the ability to create a safe and engaging environment. Key Responsibilities
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Provide basic care, such as meal preparation, feeding, and diapering/toileting, as needed.
- Maintain a tidy and organized play area.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities and any concerns.
- Adhere to household rules and routines.
- Provide occasional homework help or reading support.
Required Skills
- Genuine love for children and ability to connect with them.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Responsible and trustworthy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare (babysitting, camp counselor, tutoring, etc.).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Access to reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
