Job Description
Are you a student looking for an exciting opportunity to be a part of Cleveland’s biggest festivals and concerts? Live Nation Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Student Setup Crew. This temporary, on-site role is perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and want to gain hands-on experience in the live entertainment industry. You’ll play a crucial role in bringing major events to life, from stage setup to venue preparation, ensuring a seamless experience for artists and fans alike. This is a fantastic chance to work behind the scenes at iconic venues and major events throughout the Cleveland area.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the load-in and load-out of equipment, staging, and event infrastructure.
- Set up and dismantle various event elements including barricades, signage, seating, and decor.
- Support production teams with stage preparation, backline setup, and lighting/sound equipment placement.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment before, during, and after events.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines for event setup and tear down.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing event requirements.
- Provide general support to event management and production staff as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by event schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in event setup, general labor, or warehouse work is a plus.
- Interest in the music and entertainment industry.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
