Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment, servers, and other IT infrastructure components.

- Support cable management, equipment racking, and data center organization tasks.
- Document work performed, including installations, repairs, and inventory updates.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while performing duties.

- Travel to various field sites as required within the region, supporting different projects and operational needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong interest in information technology, telecommunications, or related fields
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software principles
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or vocational training in IT, electronics, or a related technical discipline
- Previous experience in a hands-on technical role, even non-professional (e.g., hobbyist, volunteer)
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, Ethernet)
- Experience using hand and power tools safely
