Job Description
Are you passionate about thrifting, keen-eyed for detail, and eager to contribute to a meaningful cause? Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a dedicated Thrift Store Secret Shopper to evaluate the customer experience, store presentation, and service quality at our retail locations. This unique role allows you to combine your love for discovering hidden gems with providing invaluable feedback that directly impacts our operations and supports our mission. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our stores consistently offer an excellent experience for our customers, whose purchases fund our vital community programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned Goodwill retail locations anonymously during specified hours.
- Evaluate the overall customer experience, including greetings, assistance, and checkout process.
- Assess store cleanliness, organization, merchandise presentation, and pricing accuracy.
- Observe staff professionalism, product knowledge, and adherence to company standards.
- Identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement in store operations and customer service.
- Complete detailed and objective evaluation reports promptly after each visit, using a provided scoring system.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all observations and findings.
- Adhere to all guidelines and instructions provided for each shopping assignment.
