Job Description

As an Urban Infrastructure Tagger, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the accuracy and richness of Google’s geographic data. This 100% remote position involves meticulously identifying, categorizing, and tagging various elements of urban infrastructure from satellite imagery, street-level views, and other data sources. Your work will directly contribute to improving navigation, local search, and autonomous driving technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of tagged data, adhering to strict guidelines and maintaining high levels of productivity. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately identify and tag urban infrastructure features such as roads, buildings, landmarks, traffic signs, and points of interest.
  • Analyze various geospatial data inputs including aerial imagery, satellite imagery, and street-level photographs.
  • Adhere to established guidelines and quality standards for data tagging and categorization.
  • Identify and report discrepancies or ambiguities in data sources.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new tagging tools, policies, and project requirements.
  • Maintain consistent productivity and meet daily/weekly tagging targets.
  • Collaborate with team members and project leads to ensure data quality and project success.
