Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and surgical suites, ensuring cleanliness and sterility.
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients, including feeding, walking, and administering medications under supervision.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with basic administrative tasks.
- Clean and sterilize instruments, cages, and other equipment.
- Educate clients on basic pet care and post-operative instructions.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to pet owners.
- Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies.

- Previous volunteer or work experience with animals (e.g., shelter, kennel, pet sitting) is a plus but not required.
