Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Virtual Admissions Representative to join our dynamic team. This 100% remote role involves engaging prospective students from initial inquiry through the entire application and enrollment process for our online programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, possess excellent communication skills, and be adept at leveraging technology to build relationships and guide students towards achieving their academic goals. You will be a crucial point of contact, providing comprehensive information about our programs, admission requirements, and the value of an Acadia University education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with prospective students via phone, email, video conferencing, and online chat platforms.
  • Provide detailed and accurate information about Acadia University's online programs, admission criteria, and academic policies.
  • Guide applicants through the entire admissions process, including application submission, document collection, and financial aid inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, addressing their concerns and motivating them towards enrollment.
  • Conduct virtual information sessions and webinars to showcase program benefits and university offerings.
  • Maintain meticulous records of interactions and progress in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with academic advisors and other departments to ensure a seamless transition for enrolled students.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, program changes, and competitor offerings.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and virtual communication tools.

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
