Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Virtual Office Assistant (Student) with a keen interest in the startup world to join our dynamic team. This entry-level, part-time position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced corporate environment while supporting initiatives crucial for startups and small businesses. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth administrative operations, assisting with project coordination, and contributing to our mission of empowering prosperity. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Assist with data entry, report generation, and document organization.
- Support various internal projects and initiatives, with a focus on startup engagement programs.
- Conduct research and compile information on industry trends, competitor activities, and startup ecosystem developments.
- Help prepare presentations, reports, and other communication materials.
- Coordinate virtual events and workshops aimed at supporting entrepreneurs.
- Manage and organize digital files and records efficiently.
- Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a virtual environment.
- Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role (even volunteer work).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Basic understanding of the startup ecosystem or small business challenges.
- Experience with virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack).
