Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Office Assistant to join our team, specifically supporting our initiatives focused on startup growth and engagement. This is a unique part-time opportunity for a student eager to gain experience within a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment while contributing to the vibrant startup ecosystem. You will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient virtual operations, assisting with administrative tasks, and supporting various projects designed to empower emerging businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing virtual documents.
  • Assist with research on market trends, competitor activities, and startup-related topics.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate virtual events, workshops, and webinars aimed at startup engagement.
  • Manage and organize databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
  • Support communication efforts, including drafting emails and social media content for startup programs.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of startup support initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative or virtual assistant role.
  • Demonstrated interest in startups, technology, or entrepreneurship.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
