Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting way to spend your summer weekends, earn some extra cash, and be at the heart of the action? Allied Universal Event Services is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Weekend Festival Crew. This is a fantastic opportunity for those eager to gain hands-on experience in event management, customer service, and logistics in a dynamic, high-energy festival environment. No prior experience is required – we’ll provide the training!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including erecting tents, arranging seating, and setting up signage.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service, directing attendees and answering general inquiries.
- Monitor designated areas for safety and security concerns, reporting issues to supervisors.
- Support various operational tasks as needed, such as waste management, crowd flow, and ticket scanning.
- Ensure compliance with event policies and procedures to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve event success.
Required Skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, primarily weekends and occasional evenings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled).
- Previous experience in customer service or event support (though not required).
- First aid or CPR certification (a plus, but not mandatory).
