Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and safely unload packages from trailers, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Sort and stage packages according to destination and established operational procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Perform repetitive lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling of packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Inspect trailers for damage and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic, especially on weekends.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all company guidelines.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physically demanding role.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
