Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Downstream Operations Aide to join our team, based at our specialized support facility in Kearns, Utah. This unique role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Houston Refinery by providing essential remote monitoring, data analysis, and logistical coordination support. As an Operations Aide, you will play a vital part in maintaining high safety standards and operational efficiency from our Utah hub, utilizing advanced technology and robust communication channels to collaborate with our Houston-based teams. The ‘High Hourly Rate’ reflects the specialized nature, critical impact, and valuable skills required for this integral support position. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to one of the industry’s leading energy companies without being physically present at the refinery site, focusing instead on the analytical and coordinative aspects of downstream operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze real-time operational data from the Houston Refinery's downstream processes.
- Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and summaries.
- Coordinate logistical aspects for material and equipment movements supporting Houston operations.
- Provide administrative and technical support to Houston-based operational teams via remote systems.
- Identify and report potential operational discrepancies or safety concerns based on data analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities, incidents, and preventative measures.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless information flow and operational continuity.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Basic understanding of industrial safety practices.
