Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for aspiring international nurses to kickstart their careers in the United States. As an International Nurse Trainee at Kaiser Permanente, you will join a leading healthcare organization dedicated to exceptional patient care and professional development. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all training modules and mentorship programs designed for international nurse trainees.
- Assist registered nurses in providing direct patient care, including taking vital signs, assisting with personal care, and facilitating patient mobility.
- Document patient observations, care provided, and responses to interventions accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and adaptation to U.S. healthcare practices.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical nursing practices and standards.
- Actively prepare for and successfully pass the NCLEX-RN examination to obtain U.S. licensure.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited international institution.
- Eligibility for U.S. RN licensure (pending successful completion of NCLEX-RN examination).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for patient and team interactions.
- A compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
