Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pinterest Ad Tech Support – Level 2 Technical specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position dedicated to providing advanced technical support for Pinterest advertising platforms and related ad technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ad campaign management, troubleshooting technical issues, API integrations, and data analysis specifically within the Pinterest ecosystem. You will be responsible for resolving complex client issues, escalating problems to higher tiers or development teams, and contributing to the overall success of our clients’ ad campaigns on Pinterest. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for digital advertising technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Pinterest ad campaigns, pixels, catalogs, and other ad tech components.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to ad delivery, tracking, reporting discrepancies, and API integrations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (account managers, developers) and Pinterest support to escalate and resolve critical issues.
- Assist clients with setting up and optimizing Pinterest conversion tracking, product feeds, and audience segmentation.
- Document support cases, solutions, and create knowledge base articles for common technical challenges.
- Monitor ad performance and identify potential technical issues impacting campaign success.
- Stay updated with the latest Pinterest ad platform features, updates, and best practices.
- Conduct technical training sessions for clients or internal teams as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ad tech support, digital advertising, or a similar technical role.
- Demonstrable expertise with Pinterest Ads Manager, Pinterest Tag, and Product Catalogs.
- Strong understanding of ad tracking methodologies (e.g., pixels, server-side tracking, UTM parameters).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting API integrations and data flows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with web debugging tools (e.g., Chrome Developer Tools).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with other social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages for data analysis.
- Experience working in an agency environment.
- Pinterest advertising certification.
