Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly CU Service Assistant to join our Scottsdale branch team for part-time morning shifts. As a CU Service Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our valued members, providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and educating members about our products and services. This role is crucial in maintaining the welcoming and efficient atmosphere our members have come to expect from Desert Financial Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet members warmly and provide professional, friendly service in person and over the phone.
  • Process routine member transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
  • Assist members with inquiries, account maintenance, and resolving basic service issues.
  • Identify member needs and cross-sell appropriate credit union products and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Adhere to all security and compliance procedures.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance member satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Reliability and punctuality for morning shifts.
  • A passion for helping people and providing outstanding service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Familiarity with credit union products and services.
  • Cash handling experience.
