Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Student Stockroom Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role is perfect for a student looking to gain valuable experience in fashion retail operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring our sales floor is well-stocked, our stockroom is meticulously organized, and that the behind-the-scenes operations run smoothly. This is an on-site position offering flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and organize new merchandise deliveries efficiently and accurately.
- Replenish sales floor stock regularly to maintain product availability and visual standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock audits.
- Process returns and transfers of merchandise.
- Support the sales team with retrieving items from the stockroom as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Capable of lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
