Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Specialist with a keen eye for customer journey optimization and user experience (UX) to join our growing digital team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our Shopify e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our customers from discovery to post-purchase. You will leverage your expertise in Shopify’s ecosystem, front-end development, and UX best practices to drive conversions, improve site performance, and contribute directly to our online success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize our Shopify Plus store, including theme customization, app integration, and platform configuration.
  • Analyze customer behavior data (e.g., Google Analytics, heatmaps) to identify pain points and opportunities for UX improvements.
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to validate UX changes and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to translate business requirements into effective Shopify solutions.
  • Ensure the website's responsiveness, loading speed, and overall technical performance are continuously monitored and improved.
  • Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and best practices in UX/UI design.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform, apps, and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Shopify processes and configurations.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify Plus platform management and development.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce customer journey mapping and UX principles.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end customization.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other data analysis tools for e-commerce.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve conversion rates and user engagement through data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Shopify Liquid templating language.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) and CRO methodologies.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Photoshop, Sketch, Figma).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, UX Design, or a related field.
