Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient Warehouse Sorter to join our fast-paced operations in Garden Grove, CA. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center, involving the accurate sorting, scanning, and movement of packages. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and scan packages, cartons, and freight according to destination and product type.
- Load and unload materials from trailers, containers, and racks.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed (training provided).
- Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity goals and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and data entry.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
