Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and approachable demeanor, offering product recommendations and guidance.
- Learn about our extensive range of beauty products, including skincare, makeup, fragrance, and haircare, to effectively answer customer inquiries.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing store environment, ensuring products are well-stocked and shelves are tidy.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and organizing backroom storage.
- Participate in store promotions, events, and visual merchandising efforts.
- Uphold Sephora's standards for customer service, product knowledge, and store presentation.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily sales goals and create a positive shopping experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn about beauty products and retail operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong team player with a customer-centric approach.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) as needed.
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role (non-retail experience welcome).
- Passion for cosmetics and the beauty industry.
- Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese) is a plus for our diverse customer base.
