Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and articulate Virtual Support Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will provide exceptional text and email-based technical assistance to Microsoft customers, resolving inquiries related to our wide range of products and services. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a world-class support organization from anywhere in the United States. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, providing clear solutions, and ensuring a positive customer experience, all through written communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via text and email.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to Microsoft products and services.
  • Provide accurate, comprehensive, and easy-to-understand solutions to customers.
  • Document all interactions and resolutions accurately in the CRM system.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support teams when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and support procedures.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Basic understanding of common technical concepts and troubleshooting steps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer support or help desk role (text/email preferred).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products and services (Windows, Office 365, Xbox, Azure basics).
  • Experience with CRM software.
