Grand Soiree Productions is seeking dedicated Wedding Musicians to join our roster for weekend engagements. We are looking for versatile instrumentalists and vocalists who can create an enchanting atmosphere for couples on their special day. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a diverse repertoire of wedding-appropriate music, including ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception selections.
- Collaborate with clients and event coordinators to finalize music selections and setlists prior to the event.
- Arrive punctually at venues, fully prepared with instrument(s), attire, and any necessary sound equipment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor throughout all engagements.
- Adapt to various venue acoustics and client preferences to ensure a flawless musical performance.
- Provide exceptional musical talent that enhances the overall wedding experience.
Required Skills
- Exceptional proficiency in your chosen instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, cello, vocals, harp).
- Extensive repertoire of classical, contemporary, and popular wedding music.
- Ability to learn new songs quickly and adapt to specific client requests.
- Excellent stage presence and professional conduct.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Own high-quality instrument(s) and potentially basic amplification/PA system (depending on instrument).
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal music education or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience performing at weddings or high-end events.
- Ability to perform in multiple musical genres (e.g., classical, jazz, pop, R&B).
- Access to professional sound equipment and transportation.
- A professional portfolio or demo reel showcasing past performances.
- Positive references from previous clients or event coordinators.
