Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast Crew Member to join our dynamic team. This full-time position requires an early start, with shifts from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM, leaving your afternoons free! You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining our breakfast buffet, assisting guests, ensuring cleanliness, and preparing basic food items to ensure a delightful start to our guests’ day. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and stock the breakfast buffet area prior to opening, ensuring all items are fresh and appealing.
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with any requests or questions regarding breakfast items.
- Monitor food levels and replenish items promptly to maintain a well-stocked and attractive buffet.
- Prepare simple food items such as oatmeal, cut fruit, and coffee according to established recipes and safety standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Clear tables and wash dishes as needed, ensuring a tidy dining environment.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Break down and clean the breakfast area at the end of the shift.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or food supply issues to management.
Required Skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts consistently (4:00 AM – 10:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment.
- A positive attitude and a passion for guest service.
