Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and dedicated to providing exceptional player support? Electronic Arts (EA) is seeking an EA Games Support Pro to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who excel in customer service and possess leadership potential, with a clear path for advancement to a Team Lead position. As an EA Games Support Pro, you will be the frontline for our players, resolving complex issues, providing expert guidance, and ensuring a positive gaming experience. For those demonstrating leadership capabilities, a structured development program will guide you towards becoming a future Team Lead, where you will mentor colleagues, manage escalations, and contribute to team strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert, timely, and empathetic support to EA players via multiple channels (chat, email, phone) for various game-related inquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, account problems, billing discrepancies, and in-game challenges.
- Document player interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
- Stay current with EA's game titles, platform updates, and support tools.
- Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Proactively identify trends in player issues and suggest improvements to processes or game features.
- Actively participate in training and development programs designed for leadership advancement.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or technical support, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong passion for video games and familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with common office software and the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
- Exceptional empathy and patience when dealing with player concerns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the gaming industry or gaming customer support.
- Demonstrated leadership potential or prior experience in a mentorship role.
- Familiarity with EA game titles and services.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
