Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Airline Catering Evaluator to join our team at the Pasco Tri-Cities Airport. This critical role is responsible for overseeing and evaluating the quality, safety, and presentation of all catering services provided to Alaska Airlines flights originating from this location. You will be the eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring that our catering partners consistently meet Alaska Airlines’ rigorous standards for food safety, hygiene, freshness, and overall passenger experience. This is an airport-based role requiring a keen eye, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections of catering carts, meals, beverages, and other inflight provisions.
  • Verify adherence to established food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and temperature controls.
  • Assess meal presentation, portion sizes, ingredient quality, and special meal accuracy.
  • Document findings meticulously, including any deviations, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
  • Provide constructive feedback to catering partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with catering management to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed records of all evaluations and contribute to performance reports.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, food safety regulations, and company catering specifications.
  • Report any critical food safety or quality issues immediately to appropriate management.

Required Skills
