Job Description
Are you a creative visionary with a passion for digital design and a proven track record of creating engaging content? Shopify is seeking a talented Pinterest Graphic Designer and Canva Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in elevating our brand’s visual presence on Pinterest, driving engagement, and attracting new audiences. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality graphic content primarily using Canva, tailored specifically for the Pinterest platform. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your design expertise and strategic thinking to make a significant impact on our global marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create visually compelling Pinterest pins, boards, and other graphic assets that align with Shopify's brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Utilize Canva extensively to produce a high volume of creative and optimized graphics efficiently.
- Develop strategic Pinterest content plans, including pin scheduling and optimization for maximum reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and social media teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution across all platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with Pinterest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to continually refine our strategy.
- Analyze Pinterest performance data and provide insights to inform future design decisions and content strategy.
- Manage and organize a library of design assets, templates, and brand elements within Canva for team use.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing Pinterest-specific content.
- Expert-level proficiency with Canva and its advanced features.
- Deep understanding of Pinterest as a marketing platform, including best practices for visual content, keywords, and engagement strategies.
- Strong aesthetic sense and ability to create visually appealing, on-brand designs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
