Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Shelf Stocker to join our evening team in New Port Richey, FL. This role is crucial to ensuring our store shelves are always well-stocked, organized, and presentable for our customers. As an Evening Shelf Stocker, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise, helping to maintain a clean and efficient shopping environment. This position offers a dynamic work setting, focusing on teamwork and attention to detail during our crucial evening hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload merchandise deliveries efficiently and safely.
- Stock shelves, displays, and coolers with new merchandise according to planograms and store standards.
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Ensure aisles are clear and products are easily accessible for customers.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Remove empty boxes and other debris from aisles and stockroom.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including stockroom and sales floor.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding stock levels and product issues.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment
- Familiarity with inventory management procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
