Job Description
As a Lead Chauffeur with Team Management Opportunity at Blacklane, you will not only provide exceptional driving services to our executive clientele but also play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding a team of professional chauffeurs. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport clients to their destinations, adhering to strict schedules and routes.
- Provide an exemplary level of customer service, ensuring client comfort, privacy, and satisfaction.
- Maintain the vehicle in pristine condition, conducting regular inspections and ensuring cleanliness.
- Train and mentor new chauffeurs on company policies, service standards, and local routes.
- Assist in scheduling and dispatching, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally and discreetly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Utilize navigation and communication technology effectively.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 5 years of professional chauffeur experience, preferably in a luxury setting.
- Excellent knowledge of Portland, ME and surrounding areas.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a lead or supervisory chauffeur.
- Certification in defensive driving or advanced chauffeur training.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle maintenance and operation.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
