Job Description
Are you seeking a unique opportunity to learn a specialized trade and embark on a rewarding career in luxury transportation? Carey International is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Livery Driver in Mobile, Alabama. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with a clean driving record and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. We will provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and professionalism required to become a certified Carey chauffeur. You will learn everything from advanced driving techniques and navigation to etiquette and customer interaction, ensuring you uphold our world-class standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Successfully complete all required training modules and certifications to become a professional livery driver.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and local traffic laws.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Learn and practice exceptional customer service, including greeting clients, assisting with luggage, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Become proficient in navigating the Mobile area efficiently using GPS and local knowledge.
- Understand basic vehicle maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and clients.
Required Skills
- Valid US Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major infractions within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior customer service experience in any industry.
- Familiarity with the Mobile, Alabama area.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in vehicle operation.
