Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weekend Hotel Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This part-time position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that define the Hyatt Regency experience. You will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms and common areas are impeccably clean and well-stocked, contributing directly to our guests’ comfort and enjoyment. This role offers the convenience of weekly direct deposit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards
  • Change bed linens and make beds, replenish towels and toiletries
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust all furniture and surfaces
  • Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including showers, toilets, sinks, and mirrors
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport soiled linens and trash to designated areas
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns to management promptly
  • Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an organized manner
  • Interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner, responding to requests politely
  • Adhere to all hotel safety and sanitation policies and procedures

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management skills to complete assignments within scheduled timeframes
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, pull, and carry moderate weights (up to 25 lbs)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
  • Effective communication skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping or similar cleaning role
  • Familiarity with various cleaning products and equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
