Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Content Reviewers to join our Internet Safety & Compliance team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content across various platforms to ensure compliance with platform policies and legal guidelines. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to make consistent and accurate judgments in a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a safe and secure online experience for millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Review user-generated content (e.g., text, images, videos) to identify and action violations of community guidelines and terms of service, specifically related to internet safety and compliance.
- Apply content policies accurately and consistently to a high volume of content reviews.
- Make well-reasoned decisions based on complex and sometimes ambiguous guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and leads to ensure consistency and share insights on emerging content trends.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion regarding all reviewed content.
- Participate in ongoing training and calibration sessions to stay updated on policy changes and best practices.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Comfortable reviewing sensitive and potentially disturbing content.
- Proficiency in using web browsers and standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
- Strong ethical compass and commitment to online safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in content moderation, trust and safety, or a related field.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and online communities.
- Understanding of internet safety principles and content policies.
- Ability to adapt to frequent policy updates and evolving content trends.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., French, Spanish) is a plus.
