Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Industrial Degreaser to join our high-tech factory environment in Honolulu, HI. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the pristine cleanliness and operational readiness of our specialized manufacturing equipment and workspaces. This involves the precise application of degreasing agents and cleaning techniques to remove contaminants, oils, and residues from complex machinery, components, and surfaces, upholding the strict standards required in an advanced technology setting. Your work will directly contribute to the quality and efficiency of our production processes, supporting the creation of cutting-edge aerospace and defense solutions. This is an on-site position requiring adherence to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough degreasing and cleaning of industrial machinery, tools, and components according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Utilize various degreasing agents, solvents, and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect equipment and work areas for cleanliness and identify areas requiring attention.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and inventory.
- Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to schedule cleaning tasks around operational needs.
- Participate in ongoing training for safety, environmental compliance, and new cleaning techniques.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
- Experience with industrial cleaning practices and equipment.
- Understanding of chemical handling and storage safety.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members.
