Job Description

Join UPS as a Remote Environmental Aide with a focus on Green Technology. In this critical 100% remote role, you will support our sustainability initiatives by assisting in research, data collection, and analysis related to environmental projects and green technology adoption across our operations. This position is ideal for an individual passionate about environmental stewardship and eager to contribute to a global leader’s efforts in achieving ambitious sustainability goals. You will play a vital part in our journey towards a greener logistics network, working from anywhere within the South Gate, CA area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the research and analysis of emerging green technologies and sustainable practices relevant to logistics and transportation.
  • Collect and organize environmental data, including emissions, waste, and energy consumption, from various sources.
  • Support the preparation of environmental reports, presentations, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement and monitor sustainability projects.
  • Conduct literature reviews and market research on environmental best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Help maintain databases of environmental metrics and track progress against sustainability targets.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials on environmental awareness and green initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong interest in environmental sustainability and green technology.
  • Excellent research and data collection abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
