Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Gym Cleaner to join our team for morning shifts at our Wavertree, Liverpool location. This crucial role ensures our gym facilities are sparkling clean and hygienic, providing a pleasant and safe environment for our members and staff. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all gym areas.
- Clean and disinfect gym equipment, locker rooms, showers, toilets, and common areas to a high standard.
- Empty bins and manage waste disposal efficiently, adhering to company guidelines.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed, ensuring continuous availability.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively to complete tasks within shifts.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within a commercial or fitness environment.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations related to cleaning products (training can be provided).
