Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Delivery Offsider to join our busy delivery team in Aberdeen. This is a crucial role supporting our drivers in the safe and efficient delivery and assembly of furniture to customer homes. You will be responsible for significant heavy lifting, ensuring furniture is handled with care, and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position offering weekly pay for your dedication and effort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist drivers with the loading and unloading of furniture onto delivery vehicles.
  • Safely transport furniture, which often involves heavy lifting and maneuvering, from the vehicle into customer homes.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent injury and damage to goods.
  • Assist with the basic assembly of furniture in customer homes as required.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organised vehicle and work environment.
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and routes, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Report any issues or damages promptly to the delivery supervisor.
