Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Junior Generative AI Specialist to join our innovative team in Palmdale, CA. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and especially generative models, even if you are a recent graduate with limited professional experience. You will collaborate with senior engineers and researchers to develop, implement, and experiment with generative AI models to explore novel solutions for complex challenges in aerospace and defense. This role requires a keen interest in creativity, problem-solving, and a desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research, design, and implementation of generative AI models (e.g., GANs, VAEs, Transformers) under guidance.
- Support data collection, preprocessing, and augmentation for training generative models.
- Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and help refine algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI solutions into existing systems.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in generative AI research and methodologies.
- Document development processes, model architectures, and experimental results.
- Contribute to the team's creative brainstorming sessions for new AI applications.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of machine learning principles and deep learning concepts.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Familiarity with at least one deep learning framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with generative AI models (e.g., GANs, VAEs, Diffusion Models) through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI model deployment.
