Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Pinterest Layout Artist to join our remote content team, focusing on enhancing our magazine and blog content for the Pinterest platform. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and optimizing visually stunning Pinterest pins and boards that drive traffic, engagement, and brand awareness for our diverse portfolio of publications. This is a unique opportunity to blend artistic flair with strategic digital marketing insights to amplify our presence on one of the fastest-growing visual search engines. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to collaborate with a dynamic team from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Design compelling and on-brand Pinterest pins (static, video, carousel) for various magazine articles, blog posts, and evergreen content.
- Develop strategic Pinterest board layouts and optimize existing boards for discoverability and engagement.
- Work closely with content creators, editors, and SEO specialists to identify key topics and visuals for Pinterest promotion.
- Ensure all Pinterest creatives adhere to brand guidelines and Pinterest best practices for optimal performance.
- Conduct visual trend research on Pinterest to inform design strategies and maintain a fresh, modern aesthetic.
- Manage a content calendar for Pinterest publication, ensuring timely delivery of assets.
- Provide creative input and recommendations for improving Pinterest content performance.
- Stay updated with Pinterest algorithm changes, new features, and design tools.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing visual layout and design skills.
- Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Demonstrable understanding of Pinterest as a visual search engine and content discovery platform.
- Strong sense of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to translate written content into engaging visual narratives.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
