Job Description
Are you a passionate gamer with an eagle eye for detail and boundless energy? Join Electronic Arts as a Morning Shift Playtester and be among the first to experience and shape the future of gaming! This unique full-time opportunity requires you to be on-site, starting your day early and concluding by 2 PM, ensuring your afternoons are free. You’ll play upcoming titles, identify bugs, provide constructive feedback, and contribute directly to the quality and fun factor of our games. We’re looking for individuals who can bring high energy and a keen sense of observation to every session, playing a vital role in our game development process.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and scenarios for unreleased games and features.
- Thoroughly document all bugs, glitches, and anomalies found, including steps to reproduce.
- Provide detailed, articulate, and actionable feedback on gameplay, design, and user experience.
- Participate actively in daily play sessions with a positive and energetic attitude.
- Collaborate effectively with development teams to ensure clarity and impact of feedback.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all unreleased game content and project details.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and observational abilities.
- Proficiency in identifying and articulating gameplay issues.
- Ability to follow instructions and execute test plans precisely.
- Demonstrated passion for video games across various genres.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for morning shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a game tester or QA intern.
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Experience with multiple gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Basic understanding of game development cycles.
