Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and physically capable individuals to join our team as a Container Unloader. This is a critical manual labor role vital to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our distribution centers. You will be responsible for manually unloading a variety of products from incoming shipping containers, sorting them, and preparing them for storage or further distribution. This role requires significant physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Top tier pay is offered for this demanding but rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manually unload freight and products from shipping containers, trailers, and trucks.
  • Sort and stack products onto pallets or other designated areas according to established procedures.
  • Inspect incoming goods for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
  • Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
  • Excellent physical stamina and endurance.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and stacking.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety principles.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manual labor role.
  • Experience operating manual material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
