Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records with accuracy.
- Conduct preliminary tests and gather essential patient information before their exam.
- Assist patients with frame selection and lens options, providing recommendations based on their needs.
- Educate patients on proper contact lens care and usage.
- Process insurance claims and handle payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical office and examination rooms.
- Collaborate effectively with optometrists and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Learn and apply new skills and knowledge related to optometry and optical products.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

- Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
