Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Pinterest Account Auditor with a strong focus on accuracy and finance to join our team in Raleigh. This role involves comprehensive auditing of Pinterest advertising accounts, ensuring compliance with budgetary allocations, financial reporting standards, and campaign performance metrics. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for discrepancies, a solid understanding of digital advertising finances, and the ability to provide actionable insights to optimize spend and maximize ROI for our diverse client portfolio. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients’ financial interests and enhancing their digital advertising effectiveness on the Pinterest platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of client Pinterest advertising accounts, focusing on spend accuracy, budget adherence, and financial reconciliation.
- Identify and report on discrepancies in billing, ad spend, and performance data, working to resolve issues promptly.
- Analyze financial data related to Pinterest campaigns to ensure optimal allocation of resources and identify areas for cost efficiency.
- Verify the accuracy of campaign setup, targeting, and bidding strategies against client agreements and financial goals.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to internal teams and clients, offering data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with advertising and finance teams to implement best practices for financial tracking and reporting on Pinterest.
- Stay updated on Pinterest advertising policies, platform changes, and digital advertising financial regulations.
- Assist in the development and refinement of auditing processes and tools specific to social media advertising platforms.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in financial auditing, digital advertising finance, or account management with a strong financial focus.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of identifying subtle discrepancies in large datasets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, SQL).
- Solid understanding of digital advertising metrics, financial principles, and budgeting processes.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Experience with Pinterest advertising platform or other major social media advertising platforms.
- Familiarity with financial reporting software or ad-tech platforms.
