Job Description
The Cosmetic Market in The Gulch, Nashville, is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Gel Polish Assistants. This part-time, entry-level position is ideal for high school students looking to gain valuable work experience in a professional and upscale salon environment. You will play a crucial supporting role, ensuring the smooth operation of our nail services and contributing to a luxurious client experience. This position focuses on preparatory tasks, cleanup, and maintaining salon hygiene, and does not involve performing technical nail or beauty services. We are looking for reliable, proactive, and friendly individuals eager to learn and grow within the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of nail stations, tools, and common areas.
- Assist nail technicians with setting up their stations before client appointments.
- Efficiently clean and sanitize nail stations and tools after each service, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
- Prepare and serve client refreshments, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming waiting area.
- Restock supplies, towels, and retail products as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with laundry and other general salon upkeep duties.
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist them with coat check or directing them to their service area.
- Support the overall salon team in creating a pleasant and efficient atmosphere.
- Follow all health, safety, and salon operational guidelines diligently.
