Stormont Vail Health is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our team as an International Nurse Trainee. This unique program is designed for internationally educated nurses seeking to establish their careers in the United States, offering comprehensive H-1B or EB-3 visa sponsorship. As a Trainee, you will receive extensive training, mentorship, and support to successfully integrate into the U.S. healthcare system and develop into a highly skilled nursing professional. The International Nurse Trainee will undergo a structured training program to develop clinical competencies and adapt to U.S. healthcare practices. Under the guidance of experienced nursing staff, you will provide direct patient care, participate in educational activities, and ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures. This role is crucial for our mission to deliver high-quality patient care and offers a clear pathway to becoming a Registered Nurse in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all required training and orientation programs.
- Assist with patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical information accurately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
- Continuously seek opportunities for learning and professional development.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and provide respectful care to all patients.
Required Skills
- Valid nursing license or eligibility to obtain licensure in your home country (or equivalent).
- Commitment to pursuing U.S. RN licensure (NCLEX-RN).
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a new cultural and professional environment.
- Passion for patient care and continuous learning.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for H-1B or EB-3 visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Previous clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
