Job Description

Are you passionate about video games and eager to provide valuable feedback that shapes future titles? Gearbox Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Playtest Participants to join our team in Frisco, Texas. This is a flexible, paid-per-session contract role where you’ll have the opportunity to play unreleased games and offer critical insights. No prior experience is required; we’re looking for players who can articulate their thoughts clearly and are committed to improving game quality. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in scheduled playtest sessions for unreleased video games.
  • Provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback on gameplay mechanics, user interface, controls, and overall game experience.
  • Complete questionnaires, surveys, and bug reports accurately and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with the development team by articulating observations and suggestions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all unreleased content.
  • Follow instructions from playtest coordinators and adhere to session guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for video games across various genres.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear feedback.
