Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Netflix Listing Assistant to join our dynamic content operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing content metadata for our titles listed on the Netflix platform, ensuring all information is presented in an e-commerce style to maximize discoverability and user engagement. This position requires strong attention to detail, a knack for data accuracy, and an understanding of how compelling data presentation influences digital content consumption.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and maintain detailed metadata for films and television series on Netflix, including titles, descriptions, genres, cast, crew, ratings, and release dates.
- Ensure all data entry adheres to Netflix's specific guidelines and internal company standards for consistency and quality.
- Optimize content listings with e-commerce best practices in mind, focusing on keywords, compelling summaries, and clear categorization to enhance searchability.
- Review and proofread existing listings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to branding guidelines.
- Collaborate with content managers, marketing teams, and technical support to resolve any data discrepancies or platform issues.
- Assist in the preparation and upload of digital assets associated with content listings (e.g., promotional images, trailers).
- Stay updated on Netflix platform changes, industry best practices for metadata management, and competitor listing strategies.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience with data entry or content management, preferably in a digital media or e-commerce environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using databases and content management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Library Science, Media Studies).
- Familiarity with Netflix content ecosystem and other streaming platforms.
- Experience with metadata standards (e.g., XML, JSON) and digital asset management (DAM) systems.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles for content discoverability.
