Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable 16-year-old teens to join our Amazon Logistics team as a Warehouse Picker in Rapid City, South Dakota. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals looking for immediate employment with weekly pay. You will play a crucial role in our fulfillment process, helping us sort, pick, and prepare items for delivery. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success and safety in the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and sort items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using handheld scanners.
  • Safely pack items into designated containers or onto pallets, ensuring proper handling of all products.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting and organizing stock.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment safely and efficiently after receiving appropriate training (e.g., pallet jacks, manual carts).
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Skills

  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions and safety guidelines in English.
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs regularly throughout a shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
