Job Description
Ponte Winery & Vineyard Inn is seeking discreet and observant individuals to join our exclusive Weekend Roster as Mystery Dinner Guests. This unique part-time role offers high earning potential for those with a refined palate and keen eye for detail. As a Mystery Dinner Guest, you will experience our dining establishments as a regular patron, providing invaluable, objective feedback on all aspects of your visit. Your insights will directly contribute to the continuous improvement of our service, ambiance, and culinary offerings, ensuring we consistently deliver an extraordinary experience to all our guests. This is an on-site role, requiring your physical presence at our Temecula locations during weekend dinner services.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend dinner services at designated Ponte Winery & Vineyard Inn restaurants on weekends as an anonymous guest.
- Objectively evaluate the entire dining experience, including food quality, presentation, service efficiency and attentiveness, ambiance, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Observe and assess staff adherence to service standards and operational procedures.
- Provide detailed, constructive, and unbiased written feedback on your experience within a specified timeframe after each visit.
- Maintain complete anonymity throughout the evaluation process to ensure a genuine guest experience.
- Adhere strictly to evaluation guidelines and specific criteria provided for each visit.
- Communicate any significant findings or exceptional experiences promptly and professionally.
Required Skills
- Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate experiences clearly and objectively.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
- Ability to provide constructive and unbiased feedback.
- Genuine appreciation for fine dining, quality ingredients, and elevated service standards.
- Proficiency with basic word processing software for report submission.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a mystery shopper, consumer insights professional, or restaurant critic.
- Knowledge of culinary arts, wine pairings, and fine dining etiquette.
- Flexible availability during weekend evenings (Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays).
- A sophisticated palate and discerning taste.
